Robotic systems for the food line.
Prandium builds robotic systems that fit onto existing production lines and take over the repetitive picking, portioning and packing that's hardest to staff.
Most of it is still done by hand.
On ready-meal and salad lines, people stand at one station for a whole shift, placing the same ingredient into the same container. These are the jobs producers find hardest to fill, especially at night.
Food is never the same shape twice.
That's why robots that repeat a fixed path never took these jobs over. Ours looks first: cameras find each container and each ingredient, then it decides where to grip.
It fits the line you already have.
A compact system on standard hardware with a food-safe gripper, and no rebuild. Producers pay monthly, for less than it costs to staff the station.
It gets better with every pick.
Each deployment teaches it more about handling food, so over time it can take on harder tasks, all the way to assembling a full meal.
Let's see your line.
We're looking for our first pilot partners. If you run a food production line, we'd love to come and see it.
We're building robotic systems for food production.
Prandium started on the Robotics & AI master's at UCL, and something we kept noticing: behind sandwich counters and on ready-meal lines, people do the same small task thousands of times a day.
That work has been hard to automate because food is soft and never the same shape twice. Progress in robot vision and learning is changing that. We're starting with one task at one station on a real production line, and building from there.
Prandium is Latin for the midday meal.

Say hello.
We're looking for food producers to pilot with, and for anyone who knows the industry.
